Hit 200 book club meetings last night and it stopped me cold

I got home from our monthly meeting at the Elm Street library and realized I had just attended my 200th book club discussion. That's over 16 years of showing up, rain or shine, to talk about books with the same core group of 8 people. It surprised me because I never set out to hit a number like that, I just kept going because I genuinely enjoy the debates we get into. Has anyone else realized they passed a milestone without even trying to?

Insane patience" on your part @xena_miller31 - what was the worst book they made you read?

Sixteen years with the same 8 people? That is insane patience on your part. 200 meetings is a serious commitment, most people would have bailed after the first year of bad book picks. You must really hate the alternative of sitting at home alone.
