Why does nobody talk about switching from a hand beveler to a track torch on long seams?
I fought a 30 foot shell course with the old hand beveler for two days before my foreman in Gary handed me a track torch and we knocked out the same seam in four hours, so what setup are you all running for long straight cuts?
Wait, two days on one seam with a hand beveler? That sounds like pure misery. We use a track torch on anything over 10 feet, I can't even picture doing a 30 foot course by hand. Who is out here making guys do that in 2024?
