Wasted 3 days on a rigging setup that was garbage from the start
I spent last week setting up a chainfall and spreader bar combo for a boiler tube pull in Pittsburgh. The math looked fine on paper, but I didn't account for the beam clamp slipping under load. Lost 3 days of crew time and had to rent a different lift setup for $400 extra. My foreman just said 'you should've known better' and walked off. Anyone else run into beam clamp issues that made you switch to a different anchor method for good?
