Saw a guy using a regular grinder disc on stainless last week

I was on a job in Tacoma and watched a new guy try to cut some 304 stainless with a standard abrasive disc. He was going at it for a good ten minutes, barely making a mark and throwing sparks everywhere. You have to use a dedicated stainless steel cutting disc to avoid contamination and actually get a clean cut. Anyone else run into this on site and have a good way to explain it to apprentices?

Watched a guy do that once and ruin a whole sheet.

So I saw this guy @terryr46 trying to fix a dent on his truck once. He used way too much bondo, slathered it on thick like cake frosting. Left it to dry in direct sun, got all bubbly and cracked. Ended up having to sand the whole thing down to bare metal again. Just a total mess, took him two weekends and like three times the original time.

A whole sheet? That's insane.
