Grinder sparks nearly got me, need a better guard trick
Was capping a feedwater line at a refinery in Gary last week and my guard rotated loose mid-cut. Sparks shot right toward my neck before I killed the trigger, felt the heat through my collar. I check the guard every morning but that freakin bolt vibrates out after an hour of heavy grinding. Anybody using threadlocker or a different wrench setup that actually holds up on the job? Also curious if welding a tab stop helps or if that just makes it worse for tight spots.
