Watched a guy at my Tuesday game night lose Catan because he refused to trade with his wife
It hit me right then that the real game isn't the board, it's figuring out who at the table two seats over will actually honor a deal six turns from now, which is why I now spend the first 10 minutes just watching how people talk before I ever offer a trade, and it has won me 3 of the last 5 games, so does anyone else clock table behavior before playing or am I just that guy now?
