Ugh, that's the worst! I've noticed this happens SO often at gatherings. Someone gets hyper focused on winning and just kills the vibe for everyone.

Hold up, is it really that big of a deal? Some folks just get into the game and that's how they have fun! Not every gathering is meant to be chill and laid back. Sometimes a little competition can actually make things more exciting. It all depends on the group and what everyone expects. I've seen nights where someone trying hard to win brought everyone together instead.

Ever think competitive people just don't get it? I used to brush it off too, but seeing someone turn a fun game into a serious job changed my mind. Honestly, it just sucks the fun right out of the room.
