Our board game swap meet led to a really cool moment

We set up a table at the community center to trade games with each other. A shy teenager ended up finding a group to play with and stayed for hours. What small wins have you had from sharing games with new people?

Honestly, the best part is when you get that one person who acts like they're doing you a favor by trying your game. They sit down with a huge sigh, and two hours later they're the one begging to play another round. Saw it happen with a guy and Catan last month. He went from "I guess I'll try it" to fully yelling about sheep trades. It's a beautiful thing.

It's easy to miss how those small connections add up over time. You see it at libraries with puzzle tables or in parks where someone brings a football. Letting people peek into your hobby builds a tiny bridge. A lot of loneliness just needs a casual invitation to crumble, even if it's just for an afternoon.
