My copy of Terraforming Mars fell off the shelf and the whole box exploded...

My copy of Terraforming Mars fell off the shelf last Saturday and the box burst open... cards went everywhere, including under the couch. I spent a good 45 minutes sorting the player boards back in order and I'm still missing one blue resource cube. Has anyone else had a game completely fall apart on them like this?

Did you manage to find that blue cube hiding under the vacuum cleaner or did the dust bunnies adopt it as their own? I swear the board game gods have it out for us, my copy of Catan took a tumble once and I found a settlement three weeks later behind the fridge. Sounds like you got the full "extreme unboxing" experience right there.

right? it's like the universe has this inside joke where small objects just vanish into some alternate dimension for a while before popping back up. been noticing it with socks, charging cables, even that one earring I lost for like six months only to find it in a book I hadnt opened since high school. think the board game gods and the laundry gods are in cahoots honestly, running some secret recycling program for our stuff.
