Honestly, dropping $40 on a custom foam insert for my copy of Gloomhaven was the best cash I've ever spent on this hobby.

Ngl, it cut our setup time from like 25 minutes down to 5, which means we actually play it now instead of just staring at the box.

My buddy just uses a few plastic bags for his pieces, works fine for free.

Ever notice how the best solutions are usually the simplest? Like we overthink stuff that doesn't need it.

Yeah "works fine for free" is basically the motto of anyone who's ever packed up a move without buying supplies lol. Plastic bags are great for small stuff but theyre a nightmare if you have any weird shaped pieces. I've seen people try that with heavy stuff and the bag just rips mid carry, then youre picking up shards in the driveway. Might be fine for coasters or picture frames, but for anything with weight youll regret it.
