Fell for a slick $40 board game storage solution on Etsy and the dividers were just cardboard glued together

I ordered this custom foam core insert for my copy of Terraforming Mars after seeing all the rave reviews, and within two unboxings the tabs had warped and ripped clean off. Has anyone else gotten burned by a storage upgrade that looked good in the photos but fell apart fast?

Wait so these dividers were just cardboard with a thin layer of felt or something on top? I've seen those Etsy listings where they charge forty bucks for what's basically a food box from a restaurant cut up and glued together. The photos always make it look like thick chipboard or something but when it shows up it's flimsy as heck. Did the seller even reply when you messaged them about the warping? I always wonder if these people are just cranking these out with a hot glue gun and some recycled stuff from their recycling bin because the prices sure don't match what you actually get. I've got a copy of Too Many Bones that I'm terrified to buy storage for because I know I'll end up with another pile of expensive garbage.
