Changed my tune on cooperative games after a bad night at a game cafe

I used to think cooperative board games were boring since there's no winner, but last month at a local cafe in Denver my group played The Crew and we were all yelling and laughing together trying to solve each mission. It totally shifted how I see teamwork in games. Has anyone else had a moment where a game completely flipped your opinion on a whole genre?
