Hot take: don't start with the donut tutorial, start with the default cube
Every newbie thread says watch the donut tutorial first, but after 3 weeks of icing and sprinkles I still couldn't model a mug without a tutorial holding my hand. Last Tuesday I opened a fresh file, deleted nothing, and spent 40 minutes just moving the default cube around with G and R, and something finally clicked about 3D space. What did you all do in your first week that actually stuck?
