Hit 100 renders before my donut was even close to done

I started Blender last month and somehow rendered 100 times just trying to get the sprinkles on my donut to look right. That's 100 files in my folder named variations of 'donut_test_final_FINAL2.blend' and I still haven't finished the tutorial. The weird part is I learned more from those failed renders than any 2 hour video, all because I kept hitting F12 out of frustration. Has anyone else accidentally mastered one tiny part of Blender while completely ignoring the actual project?

Ain't that the truth, I did 50 just fighting with the donut's icing drip lol.
