Found out Blender's default cube has a hidden unit scale quirk after my first export
I was exporting a simple mug model to print on my Ender 3 last weekend and the size came out 10 times too big. Turns out Blender treats 1 unit as 1 meter by default in the scene, but most slicing software reads it as 1 millimeter. I found this buried in a forum post from 2019 after two failed prints and a lot of frustration. Now I have to remember to scale everything down by 0.001 or change the unit presets under Scene Properties. Did anyone else get tripped up by this when they started sending models to a slicer? What settings do you use to avoid the surprise?
