The fire scale bracket on my coal forge took 11 hours to fix because of one stripped bolt
Spent all Saturday trying to pull the fire scale bracket off my coal forge because one 3/8 bolt was seized and rounded off. I tried penetrating oil, heat, and even a bolt extractor socket, but nothing grabbed until I borrowed a neighbor's left hand drill bit set. The whole job should have been 20 minutes, but I ended up drilling it out and re-tapping the hole to 7/16. What do you all keep around for stripped bolts that actually works?
