Sold my gas forge for a coal one and I'd do it again tomorrow

I got tired of hauling a 20 lb propane tank to the refill spot in Grand Rapids every two weeks, so I sold the gas forge and built a coal one out of a brake drum. Six months in, the fire is hotter and I can weld in it, and the only downside is the neighbors know my schedule now. Anyone else go back to solid fuel after starting on gas?
