Shoutout to the guy who used my good tongs to stir his coffee
During a break at the local forge open house, this visitor grabbed my favorite pair of tongs off the bench. He dunked them right into his mug thinking they were a giant spoon. I was too shocked to say anything at first, but come on, have some respect for other people's tools. It just shows how clueless some folks are about shop etiquette. Has anyone else had tools mistaken for something totally unrelated?

You see it everywhere, from workshops to kitchens. Folks just assume if it fits in their hand, it must work for the task. That mindset causes more problems than it solves.
