My last commission dragged on for months because I kept redoing the weld seams.

I had a client order a fireplace set that ended up taking way longer than planned. Part of me thinks I should have called it done after the first try to meet the deadline. But another part says the extra hours made the joints stronger and the piece more solid. How do you guys handle projects when they start eating up too much time?

But does the client even notice the difference?

Did setting a revision limit save you time like it did for my last project?

My friend's client, like @morgan_mason said, never noticed the extra polish.
