I dropped $80 on a 'high-temp' paint that bubbled off my forge in under a week.

What brand of paint actually holds up to forge heat for more than a few firings?

Feel your pain, that's brutal lol. Try Stove Bright, it's the only stuff that's ever lasted for me.

Yeah my last attempt looked like a toddler painted it with mud. Thanks for the tip @miles54, I'll grab some Stove Bright. At this point I'm ready to try anything that doesn't peel off after one rainstorm. My poor stove looks like it has a skin disease.
