Waitress in Medford mentioned a trick with parachute cord and now my sliding door has zero hits in 3 weeks
I was grabbing breakfast at a diner in Medford about two weeks ago and the waitress saw my shirt from a bird rescue group. She told me her mom used to cut old parachute cord into 4 inch pieces and hang them in front of the glass. I tried it on my back slider with maybe 12 strands spaced a few inches apart. Zero thuds since then, where I used to get one or two a week from robins and finches. Anyone else tried something like this on big windows?
