Vent: Stick-on dots beat the hanging tape I used for 8 months

After 8 months of replacing that clear tape every few weeks because it curled off my sliding door, I finally put those little UV decals on instead. Two weeks in, zero strikes and the birds just curve around it, plus I don't have to stare at sticky residue anymore. Anyone else ditch tape for something less obvious, or is there a better trick for big glass panels?
