The UV decal strips I put up last spring finally gave out

Found a pile of them curled up on the windowsill yesterday after a big rain. I guess the adhesive only lasted about 8 months. Anyone have a brand of window decals that actually survives a full year of weather?

Honestly, eight months seems pretty decent for any sticker outside.

Eight months actually is pretty good for a sticker that lives outside. @john430 that brand you mentioned is solid, I've had good luck with them too. But the thing people always forget is that location matters a lot more than the sticker itself. A sticker on a car door that gets full sun all day is gonna fade way faster than one on a bumper that's shaded or on a window. Also if you live somewhere with harsh winters like I do, the freeze-thaw cycle can really mess up the adhesive fast. So yeah eight months is solid, but you could probably get a year or more out of one if you put it somewhere protected and clean the surface well before sticking it down.

What brand were you using? I switched to the 3M ones and they've held up for over a year now.
