The mirrored film I installed actually made things worse
I put that reflective film on my big south window last spring to stop the robins. Three months later I found a dead cedar waxwing under the same spot, and the film had peeled at one corner so it looked like a jagged hole. Turns out the reflection just confused them more when the sun hit it at certain angles, especially in the late afternoon. I pulled it all off and went back to simple soap streaks, which at least keeps them away without making a mirror. Anyone else had a product that backfired like this, or am I the only one who fell for the shiny fix?
