That neighbor lady yelled at me for scaring away her finches

I was setting up a hummingbird feeder by my kitchen window last Tuesday, and the lady next door storms over saying I was luring birds to their death. She pointed at my clean windows and told me they need those UV decals or else it's a death trap. Has anyone else had neighbors get weirdly aggressive about your bird strike setup?

Yeah people overreact. It's just birds, not that deep.

Aw, c'mon now. They're not just birds, they're a whole ecosystem doing a lot of heavy lifting for us. If they were gone, the bugs and the pests would have a field day with our gardens and crops. So yeah, maybe it's not a movie plot, but it's still more important than people give them credit for.
