Shoutout to the tape grid folks, but my $8 window markers are winning so far
Two options for my big picture window: a 2 inch tape grid spaced every 4 inches, or those white window markers you draw dots with. I went with the markers because my landlord would kill me over tape residue, but now I'm second guessing it. Three weeks in and only one thump, compared to four strikes the month before, so it seems to be working. The problem is the dots fade after rain and I have to redraw them, which is annoying. My neighbor swears the tape grid cut his strikes to zero at his place in Dayton, and he thinks my dots are too far apart at 2 inches. I spaced mine 2 inches and still got that one hit, so maybe he has a point. Tape people, do you deal with peeling in summer heat, and marker people, how often are you redrawing? Trying to figure out if I should just switch before spring migration hits.
