Rant: Paid $120 for those fancy UV decals, windows still got hit
I ordered a set of those expensive reflective decals from an online bird supply shop back in March, stuck them exactly per the instructions on my big patio window in Columbus. A robin still smacked the glass last Tuesday, and I'm wondering if the cheap soap-and-water trick I used before worked just as well. Has anyone else seen pricey stickers fail, or did I just get a bad batch?

Oh great, so you basically paid $120 for fancy window art while the robin got a free show. That's the thing with those decals, birds don't read the instruction manual and a lot of them only work if they're spaced right and cover enough of the glass. One or two stickers on a big window won't do squat because the bird just aims for the clear spot in between. My aunt tried the same thing in Cleveland and ended up taping up plain old paper dots instead, which honestly worked better.
