Put up those fancy window decals and still had a warbler hit my sliding door 3 days later
Found out the hard way that birds will still smack into glass if you only put decals in the middle because they just fly at the empty corners instead, so now I've got a row of sticky dots every 4 inches across the whole thing what's a better pattern that actually works for songbirds in Ohio?

Oh man, the "empty corners" thing got me because I had robins dive-bombing my patio slider for weeks before I realized decals just made them aim for the gaps lol. Ended up using those frosted window film strips in a grid pattern and it works way better for the finches here in Michigan.

That grid pattern is the REAL trick for sure! Had a chickadee absolutely BONK into my window even with decals spaced farther apart. Now I just went full crazy with little vinyl circles every 3 inches in a staggered pattern so there's no clear gaps anywhere.
