My neighbor told me my decals were too far apart to actually help

She said, 'Lisa, those little hawk stickers need to be closer than a hand's width or the birds just see a big hole.' I moved them all closer together that afternoon. Anyone have a favorite brand that holds up in the rain?

Oh good call! I've had the cheap ones peel off, but the 3M outdoor vinyl ones have lasted me a few seasons now.

I spaced mine three inches apart after a buddy told me the same thing and my windows have been clean ever since.

I always thought spacing didn't matter much, but hearing that about the birds seeing a big hole made total sense. I switched mine around too.
