My neighbor in Austin said to put a hawk sticker on the glass and it cut strikes by half in a month.
We used to get a bird hitting our big living room window every couple of weeks, but after putting up a single decal right in the center, we only had one in the last four weeks. I think the shape breaks up the reflection enough to make them turn. Has anyone tried those dotted tape strips instead of a single decal?

My buddy in Phoenix tried the tape strips on his sunroom. He said they worked for a bit but the adhesive failed in the heat after a few months. The hawk decal he replaced it with has held up for over a year now. I'd worry about the tape coming off and leaving a mess.

Guess the hawk decal is the real MVP... Arizona heat just melts everything else into a sad, sticky puddle.
