Just realized my neighbor's decals worked better than my whole bird tape setup
My neighbor Ruth in Lansing put those little dot decals on her sliding door 2 years ago, and she told me last Saturday she hasn't had a single strike since, while my hawk-shaped tape on the big window got hit twice this spring. She said the trick is putting them close together, no more than 2 inches apart, since birds try to fly between wide gaps. What spacing do you all use on a big picture window, and does the shape of the decal really matter or just the coverage?
