I finally quit washing my windows with the hose and switched to bars on the outside, and my strike count dropped from 6 birds last spring to zero
Everyone in this group pushes tape and decals, but for my big slider in Tucson the decals faded in 3 months while the cheap white window bars I bolted up keep working because birds see the 4 inch gap and pull up, so has anyone else gone the hardware route instead of stickers?

Wrote off bars as ugly for years but your post makes me want to try them, especially since Tucson sun kills everything stuck on glass.
