Bought those window decals for $12 and they actually worked

I picked up a pack of those UV reflective window decals off Amazon for about $12 after my robin hit the kitchen window three times in one week. I stuck them on in a grid pattern across the big pane, maybe six inches apart. It's been two weeks now and not a single strike. My neighbor tried the cheap tape method and ended up with a bird that was stunned for an hour before it flew off again. Has anyone else had good luck with the decals or found something that works better for big windows?

Glad the decals worked for you man. I tried the tape thing too and a finch just bounced off and sat there all dazed for like ten minutes, it was rough. The decals are worth it for peace of mind honestly. My cat used to lose his mind watching the birds hit the window and now he just sits there and chirps at them through the glass lol. I put a few on the inside too since the light hits different angles throughout the day. It's crazy such a simple fix actually stops them cold.

Yeah, the cat part is what really got me too. My dog used to bark her head off every time a bird smacked the window, now she just tilts her head at them. It's funny how such a LITTLE thing changes the whole vibe in the room. I did the inside thing too and it helped a ton with the evening light reflections.
