Back in 2008, my neighbor laughed at me for putting tape stripes on my slider.
Now every spring I see the same people who swore those little decals wouldn't work scrambling to buy them after a warbler hit their dining room glass, so what's the cheapest fix you've found that actually holds up for more than a season?

Hang on, are we sure those tape stripes actually work or is it just placebo effect? Birds still smack into my windows with them on, maybe they're just better at aiming between the lines lol.

oh man i feel this so hard. i tried those tape stripes for like a year and honestly same thing happened to me, birds still found a way to hit the glass. what finally worked was getting those little UV reflective decals that bird lovers swear by, you barely see them but the birds apparently see them like giant glowing stop signs. @park.adam i think you meant birds just don't learn, but honestly we're the ones who gotta learn how to set up the barriers right. i put those decals super close together like every 4 inches in a grid pattern and it cut the window hits down by a ton, no joke.
