Wasted $15 on a 'binge' show that was just a 90 minute movie split into 3 parts

But doesn't that just train our focus to be even shorter, @rubyreed? I worry that needing those constant breaks means we're losing the skill to sit with a story. It feels like we're letting the format change how we enjoy things.

Honestly I see why they do it though. My attention span is shot these days, so three 30 minute chunks feels easier to get through than one long movie. I just watched a show that did this and it worked for me. It gave me natural breaks to check my phone or grab a snack. Splitting it up doesn't always mean they're trying to trick you. Sometimes the pacing just works better that way for a home watch.
