Warning: dropped $60 on a full box set at a Borders clearance table and it sat untouched for 3 months
So about 3 months ago I was at a Borders closeout sale in the mall near me and they had this big box set of The Wire marked down to $60 from like $200, and I grabbed it thinking I'd finally watch it. Well it sat on my shelf collecting dust because I kept picking other stuff on streaming instead. Last week I got a cold and couldn't do much, so I finally cracked it open and blew through 3 seasons in 4 days. Now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long, but also wondering if I should have just stuck with the $60 and not bought the $15 coffee table it's sitting on. I mean the box set is great and all but I don't know if I would have paid full price. Has anyone else bought a big physical set like this and had it pay off way later than expected?
