That $50 I wasted on a streaming bundle I never used still stings

Signed up for a Paramount+ and Showtime deal last spring for a show I thought I'd love, watched maybe two episodes in six months, and now I'm stuck wondering how many other people have thrown cash at a sub they completely forgot about?

Ha, I totally get that sting but I'm actually gonna push back a little! I think there's something kind of nice about having access to a bunch of shows even if you only end up watching a few things. It's like having a library card you forget about but it's still there when you randomly get the urge to binge some old movie. Plus Paramount+ has some decent sports stuff if you're into that, and Showtime has a few hidden gems buried in there. Maybe it's just me but I've definitely gotten my money's worth from those bundles by accident when I had a lazy Sunday and found something random to watch. The real waste is when you sign up for something and never even open the app once, you know?

Oh I actually read this article the other day about how people with more streaming options actually watch more total content than people with just one or two services, which kind of backs up what you're saying. It's like having all that choice makes you more likely to stumble into something you wouldn't normally pick. You know what I mean? And you're totally right about the lazy Sunday thing, I found this weird documentary about competitive eating on Paramount+ once and it was the best random thing I watched all month. The bundles feel wasteful until that one day you're bored and suddenly you have a whole library to dig through, even if you mostly ignore it.
