Shoutout to the show that got me through my last night shift rotation

Last Friday around 3 AM, I was on my break in the hospital cafeteria, completely drained. I started watching 'The Bear' on my phone just to stay awake. By the time my shift ended, I had finished the entire first season. The way it shows the chaos and pressure of a kitchen felt weirdly similar to my own job. Has anyone else found a show that perfectly matches the vibe of their work life?

Seriously? That show stressed me out way more than my own job ever does.

If your job is LESS stressful than fiction, you're doing something right but also watching wrong. My trick is to pause mid-episode and actually breathe for 30 seconds before the next crisis scene. That show is DESIGNED to make you feel like you're drowning in deadlines, so treat it like a workout break, not a binge session.

The main character had 48 hours to fix that merger deal and I was actually sweating. @laura211, if a TV show about a job is more stressful than your real job, you might have the best job on earth. My heart was racing the whole last episode. I finished it and felt like I needed a nap. That kind of stress should not come from watching other people work.
