My wife made me watch 3 episodes of a dating show and now I'm hooked

I sat down last Tuesday thinking I'd catch a football game but she put on The Bachelor instead. Rolled my eyes so hard through episode one, but by episode two I was asking questions about who that girl was. By episode three I was literally telling her to shut up so I could hear what happened next lol. We finished the whole season in 5 days and I'm lowkey embarassed about how invested I got. Has anyone else gotten pulled into a show they swore they'd never watch?

Man you just described exactly what happened to me but with Love Is Blind. My girlfriend put it on and I was on my phone the whole first episode making jokes. Then somewhere in episode 2 I caught myself actually caring about who was gonna get engaged. By season 3 I was legit mad at one of the dudes for how he treated his fiance and she just looked at me like "oh now you care huh." Now I ask her when new episodes drop the same way she asks me about football Sundays.

Buddy of mine did the same thing with Below Deck, now he knows the crew drama better than his own coworkers.
