My wife and I were halfway through season 3 of 'Dark' and our power went out for 6 hours

We were right at the part where Jonas is in the cave, and the screen just went black. We tried to wait it out, but after an hour we just drove to the library to use their wifi and finish the episode on my phone. It was a whole thing, but we couldn't just stop there, you know? Has anyone else had a binge session get totally derailed by something like that?

Always thought a power outage would force a nice break from screens. That plan goes out the window when you're deep in a show like Dark. Now I just keep a portable charger and a downloaded episode ready to go.

Power outages are the worst for that lmao. My internet cut out right as the big twist happened in a movie last month, and I almost threw my remote at the wall. Had to use my phone as a hotspot and burn through all my data just to see the last twenty minutes. The struggle is way too real when you're locked into a story.

Wait, you drove to the LIBRARY? That is some serious dedication right there. I would have just sat in the dark fuming. I get it though, with a show that confusing you can't just stop mid-cave scene. You'd forget everything by the time the power came back. That's a whole new level of commitment to the binge.
