My streaming app crashed mid-finale and I lost all my settings

Went to finish the last episode of a show I was binging last night and the app logged me out, lost my watch history, and reverted to autoplay previews - spent 20 minutes digging through settings to turn them off again. Has anyone else had their streaming service reset on them like that during a crucial moment?
