My buddy said he only watches shows that end in 3 seasons, and now I can't stop checking how many episodes are left
We were arguing about what to watch at his place in Dayton last Friday and he dropped this line: "Anything past season 3 is just the writers buying a boat." I laughed, but then he pulled up his list and every show on it wrapped up clean, no filler. So I went home and checked my own queue, and 4 of the 6 shows I'm halfway through have been running for 7 seasons or more. One of them I've been "finishing" since 2021 and I honestly could not tell you what happened in season 5. Now I keep staring at the episode count before I hit play and it's messing with my head. Is 3 seasons really the sweet spot, or am I about to miss out on something great just because it's long?
