Dropped $180 on an external drive to hoard shows and it saved my data plan
Last month I finally got sick of my internet cap after burning through it on a full rewatch of Breaking Bad in two weeks. So I grabbed a 4TB external drive off the shelf at the Best Buy in Bakersfield for about $180 and ripped my whole library onto it. Now I can marathon whatever I want without touching the router, and it handled a 14 hour spree last Saturday with no hiccups. Anyone else built a setup like this, and how do you keep track of what you actually have on it?

Oh man, I did the same thing but with a cheap NAS and spent a whole weekend naming folders like a librarian. Now I just dump everything in one big pile and hope for the best when I want to watch something.
