DAE get totally derailed by a show's theme song?

I was trying to finish the first season of 'Severance' in one sitting, but the opening credits are so long and weirdly hypnotic. I must have zoned out and restarted episode 3 like four times before I just started skipping forward 90 seconds. Anyone else have a show where the intro just kills your binge momentum?

Ever notice how some shows have theme songs that are basically their own little movies? Like the old "Game of Thrones" intro that took you on a tour of the map every single time. It was cool at first, but after a few seasons, you're just sitting there waiting for it to end so the actual show can start. It totally messes with that "just one more episode" feeling.

Wait, did you actually skip the Game of Thrones intro? Because I always thought the cool part was how it changed each week to show the new locations for that episode. It wasn't just the same map tour every time. That's why I never got tired of it, @jade3. The details would shift to hint at where the story was going. I guess if you missed that, it would just feel long. But for me, spotting the changes was part of the fun before the show even started.
