Binged Severance in 3 days and realized I was skipping the intro credits the whole time
I started watching Severance last weekend and powered through the first season in like 3 days. Usually I skip intros on Netflix but something made me watch the credits on episode 5 and I noticed this hidden animation in the background that actually tells you about the plot twist. Went back and rewatched all the earlier intros and yep, I missed so many clues by fast forwarding. Has anyone else found hidden stuff in show intros that you only catch on a rewatch?

The pouring goo shapes aren't random. They match the paintings in Petey's old apartment. Saw a freeze frame comparison on YouTube. The goo pattern from episode 7 is the exact same shape as one of the paintings in the background of episode 3.

I read a blog post that said the Severance intro actually changes slightly every episode with different numbers and symbols in the background. Apparently theres hidden messages about what "Macrodata Refinement" really does if you look close enough. Kinda wild that they put actual plot clues in something most people skip.

@john430 you're right, I noticed a different shape in the pouring goo last episode too.
