Wasted $80 on a magnetic phone mount that failed on day 3
I got this slick magnetic mount for my handlebars, thought it would be perfect for navigation on my 20 minute ride to work in Seattle. Day 1 was fine, but by day 3 a pothole near the Ballard bridge sent my phone flying into traffic. The magnet just wasn't strong enough for any real bump, and the rubber case added too much gap. Now I'm back to a simple clamp style mount that cost me $15, anyone else had a magnetic mount give out on a rough route?
