Rode through the bike tunnel under the train tracks on Elm last week and almost got hit by a car cutting through the wrong way
Someone painted over the no-entry sign on the south end, and drivers have been using it as a shortcut for two weeks now, has anyone else spotted missing signage on their route?

Saw a news piece last week about how the city is "looking into" these shortcut issues but they said it could take months to put up permanent signs. @abby_scott is right about the black paint thing, I saw the same thing on my morning ride. That south entrance is basically a blind corner too, so if a car comes flying through the wrong way you have zero time to react. Really hoping they slap up one of those big reflective metal signs before someone gets seriously hurt.

Ngl that bike tunnel is a nightmare right now. I take that route to get downtown and I've seen three cars whip through there in the last week alone. Someone actually spray painted over the sign with black paint, it's not like it just faded or something. The city needs to put up a proper metal sign that can't be vandalized as easily. Almost got clipped by a sedan doing it last Thursday and my heart is still not okay.
