I finally gave up on the $70 "waterproof" pannier that soaked my laptop bag on day 3
Bought it at a shop in Portland before my first rainy week of commuting, and by the third day my spreadsheets were basically papier-mache, so now I want to know what sub-$100 bags have actually kept your stuff dry through a real downpour.
