DAE compare bar end mirrors to a helmet mirror? The bar ends won by a mile for me
I ride 7 miles each way into downtown Minneapolis and spent about $45 trying a helmet mirror first before switching to bar end mirrors. The helmet one shook so bad on the cracked pavement on my street that I could not tell a car from a mailbox. The bar end pair cost $22 and the view is rock steady, plus I can glance down without moving my whole head. I also stopped getting that neck crank at stoplights since I am not swiveling so hard. Took two tries to get the angle right but now I can see a full lane behind me. Curious if anyone here runs both at once, or did you drop the helmet mirror too?
