That sinking feeling when you round off a Titanium post mount bolt at 7am
Was doing a pre-race tune-up last Saturday morning in Denver on a cross bike with a seized caliper bolt, and the hex rounded out at 6nm on my torque wrench. Went to the bench, drilled the head, and backed the stub out with an easy-out, but of course the race was in 90 minutes. What's your go-to when a bolt is already half stripped and the customer is standing over your shoulder?
